White Rabbit Cabaret
Debra Silveus McGaha is a performer, co-owner, and creator of the White Rabbit Cabaret, an independent performing arts venue, focusing on supporting local and national performing artists.
During her 12 years in business with the White Rabbit she has created a physical space to support other performing artists with the on-stage experience they need to further develop their craft. Along with her day-to-day owner responsibilities she focuses on talent booking, artist development, and collaboration. Whether on the stage or off, Debra uses her extensive, classical dance training to produce multiple in-house productions, as well as creative direction, costume and set design.
At the onset of the pandemic in early 2020, Debra helped to develop Indiana Independent Venue Alliance whose key focus was to ensure the reopening and future success of Indiana’s independent performing arts venues after the mandated closures.
Since 2008, alongside the White Rabbit Cabaret, Debra has been an adjunct dance faculty member at Anderson University. During her time at Anderson University she has taught multiple levels of classical modern dance, improvisation, and composition. She has also had the pleasure of taking these young dancers from the studio to the stage.
Debra is looking forward to connecting with others in the industry, in her first year participating in the Bar and Restaurant Expo.
