With nearly two decades of hospitality experience, Hillary Holmes leads strategic partnerships at SpotOn, where she focuses on the best integrations and partnerships to provide top of the line offerings to those we serve in the hospitality industry. After 18 years in restaurants, Holmes made the decision to jump from restaurant operations to restaurant technology so that she could expand her impact on those working in this field. Holmes plans to help more restaurants and bars create greater revenue, while also offering exceptional guest experiences with less effort through the impact technology can offer.

Prior to joining SpotOn, Holmes was the General Manager at Von Elrod’s Beer Hall + Kitchen in Nashville where she led the adoption and implementation of the SpotOn suite of products for her team to yield 25% sales growth while increasing speed of service and reducing labor cost. Under Holmes’ direction, Von Elrod’s saw increased per-guest averages of around $12 with no menu price hikes, while increasing server tips by around 4%, all as a direct result of the technology improvements. Over the course of an entire year, this led to increased bottom line margins of around 5%, hitting double-digits and continuing to grow month after month.

For Holmes, great guest experiences and a personnel-first approach guided by family values are key to her success within the industry. Holmes’ background includes both corporate and privately owned restaurants ranging in yearly revenue from 3 to 6 million, and she has worked with most point-of-sale systems on the market in both full-service and fast casual environments.
