Michael Tipps is a passionate entrepreneur who is involved in several businesses in different industries. He earned his reputation in Hospitality in Ft. Lauderdale, New York City, and Los Angeles over the last 30 years. Michael currently consults on Hospitality projects throughout the United States, from boutique hotels to the everyman’s dive bar and owns a few as well. Based upon Michael’s experience and expertise, he made several appearances on Paramount’s “Bar Rescue “as a bar expert and now has the privilege of being a contributing writer, Speaker, and an advisory Board member for the Bar & Restaurant expo for the past several years. Early in his career he became involved in increasingly complex projects involving every aspect of the Hospitality world. He quickly came to realize that whether large or small, simple, or complicated, the underlying issues with all projects were generally very similar – especially as they related to concept creation, design, location, construction, management, operations, staff training, lighting and sound design, menu implementation, entertainment, and marketing and advertising. Michael’s core mission is to help transform and elevate the industry, which means directly helping transform and elevate those who seek greater results. Michael encourages his clients to remember that hospitality is not just a virtue, but a skill to be explored and constantly improved upon.
