Sean Biggs is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for University of Beer, a full-service, family-owned craft beer bar and elevated kitchen concept, operating seven locations in the Greater Sacramento Area of Northern California. In only six years as executive, Sean has overseen the expansion of five new University of Beer locations, growing a starting team of 35 to over 250 employees today.
As COO, Sean oversees the human resources, legal, marketing, operations, and accounting departments, but his primary role and passion is people development and team building. Sean’s love for teaching inspired him to develop the University of Beer Leadership Training Academy, a six-month manager training program which transforms great servers and bartenders into outstanding restaurant coaches and leaders.
